Four Years After Pamela Anaya's Death: Calls for Justice

Today marks four years since the death of Pamela Anaya, who passed away in Avándaro, Valle de Bravo, after getting trapped in the electric door of her house, an incident allegedly caused by businessman Isaac Salomón “N.”. Pamela's family reports various omissions by the Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico, including a lack of detailed analysis of the circumstances surrounding her death.

The family claims that private expert reports suggest that Pamela Anaya's death was a femicide allegedly perpetrated by Isaac Salomón “N.” and they demand that the prosecution judicializes the case and issues an arrest warrant against him. Evidence has been gathered, including 1,600 photographs, suggesting the businessman’s involvement in the remote activation of the electric door that trapped Pamela.

Isaac Salomón fell into contradictions regarding the events surrounding Pamela's death, raising suspicions. The family also highlights irregularities in Pamela's transfer to the hospital, including the change of ambulance during the journey and the administration of sedatives. Despite the reopening of the case achieved by the family, the investigations are now practically stalled.

Isaac Salomón is a businessman with a long track record in the real estate sector. Pamela's family accuses the prosecution of not advancing in the case due to the businessman’s economic power. Although the prosecution initially closed the case arguing it was an accident, the family managed to have it reopened in March 2022. The lack of progress and responses from the authorities has frustrated Pamela's family, who continue to seek justice for their loved one.
